I'm Isabel, an integrative counsellor and therapist. I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space to explore whatever has brought you to therapy.

I qualified with a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from The Minster Centre, one of Europe’s leading integrative psychotherapy and counselling training institutes. I have also offered therapy at the mental health charity Mind for a number of years.

My work is informed by attachment and psychodynamic thinking, relational and embodied approaches, and polyvagal-informed ideas. I’m interested in how our relationships and experiences, particularly earlier ones, can shape the ways we understand ourselves, relate to other people and respond to what happens around us.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what's wrong, what you need or where you want to get to. We can start wherever you are and explore it together.

My role isn't to tell you who you are or what you should do. It's to be alongside you; to listen, be curious, help you make sense of your experiences and, where appropriate, gently challenge you.

I'm a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and committed to ongoing personal and professional development through further training, reflection and supervision.
